Blue Waters is an exceptionally well-managed smaller hotel and is a superb choice for those who need a break from the fast pace of everyday life, as it extends an open invitation to come and relax – Caribbean-style. It's the perfect place to hide away from your mobile phone, laptop and e-mail, and do absolutely nothing… all day long. Accommodation is spacious and extremely well appointed, with everything gently focused on relaxation and recuperation.

A warm, sociable atmosphere prevails, with live local music and impromptu gatherings at The Pelican Bar all being part of the scene. Guests at Blue Waters can do as much or as little as they please – both options are equally enticing at this luxurious hotel with its wealth of facilities and relaxing atmosphere. When it comes to swimming pools, you really are spoilt for choice. There’s a secluded adults-only pool, two family-friendly pools and a beachfront pool, which overlooks the enticing Caribbean Sea. There are also four infinity pools for the exclusive use of guests staying in the Cove Suites. Alternatively, sunbathe on one of the relaxing sun loungers at the lovely beach.

Antigua’s only 18-hole PGA rated par 69 golf course, Cedar Valley Golf Club, is just three miles away from the resort – perfect for a leisurely day out in the sun. Guests at Blue Waters also benefit from the resort’s tour desk, which can help to arrange luxurious bespoke excursions so that you really get to know the vibrant island of Antigua.

While you enjoy a well-deserved pampering session at the Spa, you can rest assured that your children are also having the time of their lives, thanks to the resort’s excellent kids’ activity programme, which includes arts and crafts, snorkelling, treasure hunts and paddle boat races.

No visit is complete without a walk around the resort’s perimeters. Thanks to the new 1.5km path that meanders around the premises, it is now even easier to enjoy the beautiful architecture, colourful gardens and unforgettable views.

Evenings at the resort are lively and fun, thanks to the live local music and frequent themed nights, such as a Latin night. Steel bands entertain guests in the evenings and during Sunday brunch at the Pelican Bar, an authentic Caribbean bar named after the magnificent birds which frequently visit the bay at Blue Waters.

The hotel also offers a fully licensed babysitting service to keep your little ones entertained while you worship that glorious Antiguan sunshine.
