The interiors concealed behind an ornate façade have been immaculately redesigned, while the hospitality is as refined as you would expect from the highly esteemed Ritz-Carlton hotel group.

You couldn’t find a better-situated hotel in Midtown than The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park either, as this decadent bolthole takes pride of place on the southern border of Central Park, with views of the greenery maximised at all times. There’s nothing quite like the smug feeling of being stationed in one of New York’s most sought-after locations, while gazing out over the tree canopy from your luxurious guestroom. All are also a spacious abodes peppered with artwork and photography, even a telescope for surveying your surroundings up close.

It’s not just Central Park that guests of The Ritz-Carlton enjoy easy access to however. There are many other city highlights within close range, such as Fifth Avenue, the Mark Warner Centre and Museum of Arts and Design too. They are immaculately presented with light shades and large windows, adorned with artwork or photography and flaunting fantastic views of either Sixth Avenue or Central Park. Amenities are plentiful; expect a marble bathroom with separate tub and shower, flat-screen Smart TV, Asprey toiletries, a locally sourced minibar, fluffy robes and slippers, Bose speakers and telescopes for getting a closer peek at Central Park. The Presidential Suite is a huge space of 163sq m with a large dining room, two living rooms, a study, kitchen, powder room and Club Lounge access. Luxury La Prairie toiletries are a nice extra, particularly after you take advantage of the complimentary spa credit that comes as a gift with this suite. Generous views of both Central Park and Sixth Avenue from corner windows are the finishing touch, though you can also opt for butler service if you wish.
