Known as the ‘gathering place’, Oahu is a blend of the new and old world.
Whilst Honolulu has many resorts, take time to explore the North Shore and Leeward Coast too.
Honolulu has a number of historical highlights as well as surfing beaches of Waikiki. Visit the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the US, the King Kamehameha Statue, the leader who united the rule of the islands, the Kawaiaha’o Church, the national church, and the Aloha Tower, a shopping and dining hotspot. In nearby Waikiki, enjoy the beaches and see the views from Diamond Head.
Walk to the Makapuu Point and Nuuanu Pali Lookout for great views, both on the Windward Coast and see the surfers at Waimea Bay Beach Park on the North Coast.
From Waikiki, drive just 30 minutes to the Pearl Harbor memorial sites to learn about this important historical event.
