Hotel information
The main lodge building and three cabins are custom-built with Douglas Firs, with one lodge style room detached from the main building and cabins with kitchens or kitchenettes, fireplaces and en-suite bathrooms.
Access to the lodge is easy with regular flights to Whitehorse from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa and Yellowknife so can be incorporated in any tailor-made Canada holiday. Northern Lights Resort & Lodge is situated close to many of Yukon’s wilderness parks and attractions, offering year-round adventures from guided nature hikes, hot springs tours and biking in the summer months, and dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice fishing in the winter months. The main draw for visitors to the area is, of course, the Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis which have one of the world’s longest viewing seasons from late August to April.
The Spa and wellness area is a welcome treat after spending a day out enjoying all the outdoor pursuits on offer in this remote wilderness. Relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi or the Finnish Sauna, or indulge in a massage to help soothe those aching muscles.
The main lodge building is the hub of the resort, where guests mingle in the main lounge in front of the crackling fireplace or enjoy sumptuous gourmet meals where most of the produce has been sourced locally.
