Hotel information
Longitude 131° is a luxury desert camp sitting atop red-dust dunes overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in Australia’s Red Centre.
The lodge comprises 16 Luxury Tents and Dune Pavilions, each offering luxury amenities and king-size beds facing one of the world’s largest monoliths, Uluru.
Walls are adorned with original works by local indigenous artists, and private balconies are furnished with plush day beds and feature fireplaces. Wake to unparalleled views of Uluru literally from the end of your bed. The expansive Dune Pavilions feature separate living and sleeping areas and are positioned to make the most of the Outback's rugged beauty with views of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta.
Dune House is the central hub for relaxation, socialising and dining at Longitude 131°. Enjoy daily gourmet breakfasts, lunch and four-course dinners with daily changing menus served with premium wines and spirits, all while watching the ever-changing desert colours and Uluru.
The Dune Top, located in the property’s highest elevation provides the ultimate location for breath-taking 360? views of the vast desert, Uluru and the red domes of Kata Tjuta. The Dune Top is an all-day venue where you can help yourself to drinks from the bar, take a refreshing dip or warm up in winter in the plunge pool and enjoy cocktails at sundown.
Signature experiences are included in your stay at Longitude 131°, scheduled so that you can make the most of your time at the lodge. During a two-night stay you may be able to include an Uluru sunset experience at the viewing deck including champagne and canapes, explore the red domes of Kata Tjuta on a walk through Walpa Gorge, or take a guided walk along a portion of Uluru’s base to view cave paintings and learn about the history of the Mala people.
Private and bespoke experiences can be arranged in advance of your stay, including air tours to Kings Canyon, mountain bike tours to the base of Uluru or rides through the desert on the back of a Harley Davidson. Longitude 131° accepts children aged 10 years and older.
