Hotel information
Escape the everyday and experience your own slice of paradise at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island.
Here, some 14 kilometres of pristine coastline mean that each and every guest will feel like a true castaway.
All accommodation, from charming bungalows to palatial residences, features a private pool and enjoys beach access, with the island’s remarkably spacious nature meaning you’ll almost feel you have the white sands and Indian Ocean waters to yourself.
Explore the natural beauty of your surrounds on a complimentary bicycle, or by kayaking along the shoreline. With many rare species of flora and fauna on the island, conservation and sustainability is at the heart of this resort’s philosophy, and you can learn all about this at the Discover Centre. A visit to the Tortoise Sanctuary to meet the Aldabra giant tortoises is also highly recommended.
At the Castaway Centre, you’ll find a host of water-based activities including snorkelling and scuba diving; indeed, there are 16 certified dive sites nearby. There’s an exceptionally peaceful spa, where experienced therapists offer treatments using organic products and youngsters will be endlessly entertained at the Kids For All Seasons club and the dedicated Teen Centre.
Every meal here is one to savour. For incredible views from its rooftop platform, head to The Lighthouse, where you can watch the sunset before dining on fresh seafood and a selection of dishes from the grill. A second restaurant, Claudine, offers Mediterranean-inspired delights, while you enjoy a light snack or pick up something to take at The Deli. Why not stock up on supplies and head out for a picnic on your own private corner of this island paradise?
The resort shares Desroches Island with a tiny village community of around 100 people, who eat only the food they grow from their abundant vegetable garden and operate a furniture workshop. Visitors are greeted warmly by the locals, so guests who would like to can cycle over and encounter a very different way of life.
