This iconic and historic San Francisco hotel, built in 1907, sits on top of the affluent Nob Hill, a short cable car ride to Downtown, Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf and the Financial District.

Located at the only point in the city where all the cable car lines meet, the Fairmont San Francisco is the perfect choice for a centrally located stay in this cosmopolitan city.

The hotel comprises 606 rooms and suites spread across the hotels original seven-storey historic Main Building and the contemporary Tower Building. The sophisticated décor pays homage to the building’s history and architecture which is displayed in photographs by local artists in the accommodations and hallways of the hotel.

Rooms and Suites in the Tower Building afford the most dramatic city and San Francisco Bay views.

California Coastal inspired cuisine is served at the elegant Laurel Court Restaurant & Bar as well as the age-old tradition of afternoon tea on weekends.

Tonga Room and Hurricane Bar is an iconic San Francisco institution. This tiki-style venue has been entertaining guests since 1945, with its tropical setting, ‘surprise’ thunder and lightning storms and nightly Island Groove Band playing classic tunes while you enjoy dishes from a Polynesian-fusion menu.
