The start of the tour begins in the magical city of Kuala Lumpur, moves onto the jungle of Taman Nagara, the tea plantations of the Cameron Highlands and ends in Penang, with a short stay in the cultural city of Georgetown followed by a relaxing stay on the beach.
Itinerary
Day 1 Kuala Lumpur
Arrive Kuala Lumpur International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or to catch up on some shopping.
Day 2 Kuala Lumpur
Enjoy Breakfast at your hotel. This morning, meet your driver guide where today you will be going through the Heritage Trails of the early cultures in Malaysia. Local lunch is included for this tour. Places of interest includes; Chan See Shu Yuen Clan House, China Town, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Central Market, Sze Yeh Temple, Jamek Mosque (closed on Friday) and Sultan Abdul Samad Building. After your tour, proceed for a local banana leaf lunch.

Day 3 Kuala Lumpur - Taman Nagara
Depart Kuala Lumpur for Kuala Tembeling Jetty. Have your lunch at the café before you board the long boat to Mutiara Taman Negara. The journey cruises up the Tembeling River. Arrive at Mutiara Taman Negara, dinner at the Seri Mutiara Resort. After assemble for an audio-visual presentation, then, go for a guided night jungle walk which is an experience that you will never forget.
Day 6 Cameron Highlands
Listen to our guides ‘tea talks’ while enjoying breathtaking views of the tea garden. Take a walk with our nature guides into the Mossy forest. A short drive down from the mountain will bring you to the Sungei Palas ‘BOH’ Tea Factory where you will be guided on how tea is made. After your driver will take you on a tour of Cameron Highlands.
Day 7 Cameron Highlands - Penang
After breakfast head towards the town of Ipoh. Arrive in Sam Poh Tong, a famous cave temple. Proceed to the older part of Ipoh, also knows as Old Town. Walk the streets of Ipoh as we take you on a culinary-historical adventure to savour the best Ipoh has to offer. From here, head up north to Penang passing through Penang Bridge where you will visit the Royale Bintang Hotel. The hotel is a beautifully restored Heritage building built in 1892.
Day 8 Penang Georgetown
Meet your driver guide this morning and proceed to the oldest wet market in Georgetown. Explore the streets of Georgetown, starting from St. George’s Church, on to the Goddess of Mercy Temple, Market street, Queen street and continue on to Khoo Kongsi. Stop for lunch. After, head to Kek Lok Si Temple. Return back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
